1. What Lozione Vittoria is and what it is used for

Lozione Vittoria is a topical antiseptic for dermatological use.
Lozione Vittoria is indicated for:

  • disinfection and cleansing of the skin in case of abrasions and superficial wounds.

Consult a doctor if you do not feel better or if you feel worse after a short period of treatment.

2. What you need to know before using Lozione Vittoria

Do not use Lozione Vittoria

  • if you are allergic to benzalkonium chloride or to any of the other ingredients of this medicine (listed in section 6).

Warnings and precautions
Talk to your doctor or pharmacist before using Lozione Vittoria.
Lozione Vittoria is for external use only; do not use on severe skin wounds.
The use, especially if prolonged, of topical products may lead to sensitization reactions
(see section “Possible side effects”). If this occurs, discontinue treatment and consult your doctor, who will initiate appropriate therapy.
Avoid exposure to ultraviolet rays (sunlight or artificial sources) after applying the product.
Avoid contact with the eyes.
Other medicines and Lozione Vittoria
Tell your doctor or pharmacist if you are taking, have recently taken, or might take any other medicines.
Avoid the simultaneous use of other antiseptics or detergents.
Pregnancy and breastfeeding
If you are pregnant, suspect you may be pregnant, planning a pregnancy, or breastfeeding, consult your doctor or pharmacist before using this medicine.
This medicine can be used during pregnancy and breastfeeding.
Driving and using machines
Lozione Vittoria does not affect the ability to drive or operate machinery.
Lozione Vittoria contains lemon essence
This medicine contains lemon essence – which in turn contains allergens: citral, linalool, limonene, citronellol, geraniol, eugenol. These allergens may cause allergic reactions.
Lozione Vittoria contains ethanol
This medicine contains 570 mg of alcohol (ethanol) per gram, equivalent to 51.7%g/100 ml.
It may cause a burning sensation on damaged skin.

3. How to use Lozione Vittoria

Use this medicine exactly as stated in this leaflet or as directed by your doctor or pharmacist. If you have any doubts, consult your doctor or pharmacist.
Use this medicine undiluted. Soak a cotton ball or gauze pad with a small amount of the product and apply it to the affected areas 2–3 times daily.
Do not exceed the recommended doses.
If you use more Lozione Vittoria than you should
In case of accidental ingestion, contact a doctor immediately or go to the nearest hospital.
Accidental ingestion or inhalation of some disinfectants may lead to serious, sometimes fatal, consequences.
If you forget to use Lozione Vittoria
Do not use a double dose to make up for a forgotten dose.
If you stop using Lozione Vittoria
If you have any doubts about using this medicine, consult your doctor or pharmacist.

4. Possible side effects

Like all medicines, this medicine may cause side effects, although not everybody gets them.
Burning or irritation at the application site may occur.

Do not use this medicine after the expiry date stated on the bottle after "Exp." The expiry date refers to the last day of that month.
Do not dispose of any medicine via wastewater or household waste. Ask your pharmacist how to dispose of medicines you no longer use. This will help protect the environment.
