3. How to use Otocerum Ear Drops
Follow exactly the instructions for administering this medicine as described in this leaflet or as directed by your doctor or pharmacist. If in doubt, consult your doctor or pharmacist.
For otic use (in the external ear canal).
Recommended dose:
- Adults and children over 2 years of age:
Apply 2 to 3 drops of Otocerum into the affected ear in the morning and at night for 3 or 4 days. If after this period the earwax plug has not come out easily—which frequently occurs—consult a medical center for removal of the earwax plug.
Before first use, remove the cap from the bottle and attach the dropper cap provided in a separate pouch inside the package.
For proper application of the solution, it is advisable to hold the bottle in your hands for a while before use to warm it; this helps reduce the sensation of cold caused by direct application of the medicine into the ear.
At the time of application, it is recommended to tilt the head and maintain this position for 30 seconds to facilitate the drops penetrating into the external auditory canal. If necessary, repeat the same procedure for the other ear.
Use in children
Do not use in children under 2 years of age.
If you use more Otocerum than you should
