INSTRUCTIONS FOR MEDICAL USE OF THE MEDICINAL PRODUCT PEROXIDE-VISHFA

Composition:

Active ingredient: hydrogen peroxide;

100 ml of solution contain hydrogen peroxide (30%) 10 g;

Excipients: sodium benzoate (E 211), purified water.

Pharmaceutical form. Solution for external use.

Main physicochemical properties: clear, colorless liquid.

Upon contact of hydrogen peroxide solution with damaged skin and mucous membranes, active oxygen is released, promoting cleansing of the wound surface and inactivation of organic substances (proteins, blood, pus). The use of the drug results in only a temporary reduction in the number of microorganisms. The drug has a hemostatic effect.

Clinical characteristics.

Indications.

The drug is used to stop capillary bleeding in superficial tissue injuries, nosebleeds, for treating mucous membranes in stomatitis, periodontitis, tonsillitis, gynecological disorders, as well as in purulent wounds.

Contraindications.

Hypersensitivity to the drug.

Interaction with other medicinal products and other forms of interaction.

Interaction is currently unknown.

Special precautions for use.

Application of the solution on a dressing ensures painless removal of the dressing from the wound. The abundant foam produced promotes mechanical cleansing of the wound from pus and tissue debris.

The medicinal product should be used with caution for the treatment of deep wounds and irrigation of cavities, due to the risk of embolism.

The medicinal product is unstable in alkaline environments, in the presence of metals, free radicals of certain oxidants, as well as in illuminated and warm conditions. Contact of the solution with eyes should be avoided.

The recommended application guidelines for the medicinal product must not be disregarded, as this may harm health.

Use during pregnancy or breastfeeding.

Method of administration and dosage.

Perokys-Vishfa solution is applied directly to the damaged area of the skin for wound disinfection perse (i.e. without dilution). For mouth rinsing, dissolve 1 tablespoon of the solution in 1 glass of water; for applications, wound surface treatment, and stopping capillary bleeding, affected areas are treated with a tampon soaked in hydrogen peroxide solution. The duration of treatment depends on the therapeutic effect achieved.

Side effects.

A burning sensation during wound treatment is possible. In some cases, local allergic reactions may occur in individuals sensitive to the components of the drug. With prolonged use for oral mucosa treatment, tongue papillae hypertrophy is possible.

3 years.

The drug must not be used after the expiry date stated on the packaging.
