INSTRUCTIONS FOR MEDICAL USE OF THE MEDICINAL PRODUCT HYDROGEN PEROXIDE 3%
Composition of the medicinal product:
Active substances: hydrogen peroxide;
100 ml of solution contain hydrogen peroxide solution (30%) 10 g.
Excipients: sodium benzoate (E 211), purified water.
Pharmaceutical form:
Solution for external use.

Clear, colorless, odorless liquid.

Pharmacodynamics:
Upon contact of 3% Hydrogen Peroxide solution with damaged skin or mucous membranes, active oxygen is released. This promotes cleansing of the wound surface and inactivation of organic substances (proteins, blood, pus). The use of the product results in only a temporary reduction in the number of microorganisms. The product has a hemostatic effect.

Indications:
The product is indicated for the control of capillary bleeding in superficial tissue injuries, epistaxis (nosebleeds), for treatment of mucous membranes in stomatitis, periodontitis, tonsillitis, gynecological conditions, as well as in purulent wounds.
Contraindications:
Hypersensitivity to the product.
Interaction with other medicinal products and other forms of interaction:
Interactions are currently unknown.
Special precautions for use:
Application of the solution-soaked dressing ensures painless removal from the wound. The abundant foam formed promotes mechanical cleansing of the wound from pus and tissue debris.
The product should be used with caution for the treatment of deep wounds and irrigation of body cavities due to the risk of gas embolism.
The product is unstable in alkaline environments, in the presence of metals, complex radicals of certain oxidants, and also when exposed to light and heat. Avoid contact of the solution with the eyes.
Do not violate the recommended usage instructions, as this may harm health.
Use during pregnancy or breastfeeding:

Effect on the ability to drive or operate machinery:
No effect.
Method of administration and dosage:
Apply 3% Hydrogen Peroxide solution directly (undiluted) to the affected area of skin for wound disinfection per se.
For mouth rinsing: dilute 1 tablespoon in 1 glass of water.
For applications, wound surface treatment, and control of capillary bleeding: apply the solution-soaked swab to the affected area.
Duration of treatment depends on the therapeutic effect achieved.
Use in children:
Can be used.
Overdose:
Not observed.
Adverse reactions:
Local reactions: a burning sensation may occur at the moment of wound treatment.
Prolonged use for treatment of oral mucosa may lead to hypertrophy of lingual papillae.
Immune system: in some cases, hypersensitivity to product components may cause local allergic reactions.
If any adverse effects occur, consult a physician.
Shelf life:
2 years.
Do not use the product after the expiry date stated on the packaging.

Store in original packaging at a temperature not exceeding 25°C.
