Composition:

Active substances: 1 g of the herbal mixture contains 0.5 g of rosehip fruits (Rosaefructus) and 0.5 g of rowan fruits (Sorbifructus).

Pharmaceutical form. Herbal mixture.

Main physico-chemical properties:
Powdered raw material in packages: a mixture of powdered rosehip fruits and whole rowan fruits. Rosehip fruit fragments are hard, brittle, with a shiny outer surface, occasionally dull, more or less wrinkled, orange-red, red, burgundy, dark burgundy, or brownish-red in color; achenes are light yellow, sometimes brownish. Rowan fruits are apple-shaped, spherical or oval-spherical, shiny, strongly wrinkled, reddish-orange, yellowish-orange, or brownish-red in color.

Powdered raw material in filter packets: a heterogeneous mixture of fragments of reddish-orange, yellowish-orange, brownish-red, red, burgundy, and dark burgundy color; achenes are light yellow, sometimes brownish.

Pharmacotherapeutic group. Agents affecting the digestive system and metabolic processes. ATC code A16AX.

Pharmacological properties.

Pharmacodynamics.

The biologically active substances of the drug activate oxidation-reduction processes and enzymatic systems in the body, normalize carbohydrate metabolism, tissue regeneration, and capillary permeability. The drug exerts vitamin, general strengthening, anti-atherosclerotic, choleretic, and diuretic effects; stimulates gastric secretory function, regulates mineral metabolism, and increases the body's resistance to adverse environmental factors.

Clinical characteristics.

Indications. Hypo- and avitaminoses; hemorrhagic diatheses, various bleeding disorders; liver diseases (chronic hepatitis, cholecystitis, cholangitis), atherosclerosis – as part of complex therapy; as a general strengthening agent in infections, dystrophy, physical exertion.

Contraindications. Hypersensitivity to biologically active substances of the drug. Thrombophlebitis and predisposition to it; hyperacid gastritis, circulatory insufficiency, endocarditis, decompensated diabetes mellitus, severe kidney diseases, cholelithiasis.

Interaction with other medicinal products and other types of interactions. Unknown.

Special precautions.

Use during pregnancy or breastfeeding. Under medical supervision, when the benefit to the mother outweighs the potential risk to the fetus/child.

Ability to affect reaction speed when driving or operating machinery. Not established.

Method of administration and dosage.

Place 1 tablespoon of the herbal mixture into an enameled container, pour 200 ml of hot boiled water, cover with a lid, and steep in a water bath for 30 minutes. Allow to cool at room temperature for 10 minutes, then strain and squeeze out the residue into the strained decoction. Adjust the decoction volume to 200 ml with boiled water. Take warm, twice daily after meals: for adults and children aged 16 years and older – ½ cup; for ages 12–16 years – ⅓ cup; for ages 7–12 years – 3 tablespoons; for ages 5–7 years – 2 tablespoons. Shake the decoction well before use.

Place 2 filter packets into a glass or enameled container, pour 100 ml of boiling water, cover and let steep for 15–20 minutes. Take warm, twice daily after meals: for adults and children aged 16 years and older – 100 ml; for ages 12–16 years – ⅓ cup; for ages 7–12 years – 3 tablespoons; for ages 5–7 years – 2 tablespoons.

Store the prepared aqueous extract at a temperature of 8–15 °C for no more than 2 days.

The duration of treatment course is determined individually by a physician.

Children. The product should be used in children aged 5 years and older only as prescribed by a doctor.

**Overdose. ** No cases reported.

Side effects.

Allergic reactions (including hyperemia, rash, itching, skin swelling). If adverse reactions occur, discontinue use of the product and consult a physician.

Shelf life. 2 years.

Do not use after the expiry date stated on the packaging.

Storage conditions. Store in the original packaging at a temperature not exceeding 30 °C, in a place inaccessible to children.

Packaging. 100 g in packs with an inner pouch;

3.0 g in filter bags No. 20 in a pack, or in a pack with an inner pouch.
