INSTRUCTIONS FOR MEDICAL USE OF THE MEDICINAL PRODUCT FLAMIN-ZDOROVYE (FLAMIN-ZDOROVYE)

Composition:

Active substance: 1 tablet contains flamin, calculated as the content of total flavonoids 70% – 50 mg;

Excipients: lactose monohydrate; potato starch; corn starch; magnesium carbonate light; calcium stearate.

Pharmaceutical form. Tablets.

Main physicochemical properties: yellow or yellowish-brown tablets with speckles, with a faint specific odor, flat cylindrical shape, beveled edges.

Pharmacotherapeutic group. Agents used in liver and biliary tract disorders. ATC code A05AA.

Pharmacological Properties

Pharmacodynamics

A flavonoid-containing polyphenolic medicinal agent derived from the flower heads of Helichrysum arenarium (immortelle). Contains flavonoid glycosides (salipurposide, isosalipurposide, kaempferol, apigenin), bitter substances, tannins, sterins, essential oils, and other biologically active compounds (organic acids, carotenoids, polysaccharides).

Increases bile secretion, alters the "cholesterol/bile acids" ratio, increases bile cholate content, and prevents the formation of gallstones. Exhibits a spasmolytic effect on the smooth muscle of the sphincters of the gallbladder and biliary ducts. By stimulating gastric juice secretion, it promotes better digestion of food. Demonstrates hypocholesterolemic and hepatoprotective effects. The drug reduces inflammatory processes in the liver parenchyma and biliary tract, improves hepatic circulation. The most important aspect of its pharmacodynamics is the ability to stabilize liver cell and subcellular membranes, which is based on its antioxidant effect.

Clinical characteristics.

Indications.

Chronic cholecystitis, chronic hepatitis, biliary tract dyskinesia.

Contraindications.

Hypersensitivity to the components of the drug; obstructive jaundice, cholelithiasis with stones larger than 10 mm in diameter, peptic ulcer exacerbation, acute inflammatory diseases of the liver, gallbladder and biliary tract, and pancreas.

Interaction with other medicinal products and other forms of interaction.

The drug can be used in combination with other medicinal products prescribed for liver and biliary tract disorders.

The drug enhances the activity of metronidazole and aminoquinolines in the treatment of giardiasis.

If simultaneous use of any other medicinal products is required, a physician should be informed.

Special precautions for use.

Use with caution in patients with increased gastric acid secretion.

The medicinal product contains lactose. If the patient has known intolerance to certain sugars, consult a physician before taking this medicinal product.

Use during pregnancy or breastfeeding.

Special considerations for use of the medicinal product during pregnancy or breastfeeding have not been studied. The medicinal product may be used only if, in the opinion of the physician, the expected benefit to the mother outweighs the potential risk to the fetus or infant.

Ability to influence reaction rate while driving or operating machinery.

Dosage and Administration.

For oral administration to adults and children aged 5 years and older, taken 30 minutes before meals, swallowed with a small amount of water.

Adults and adolescents aged 14 years and older: 50 mg (1 tablet) three times daily. If necessary, the dose may be increased to 100 mg (2 tablets) two to three times daily.

Children aged 10 to 14 years: 50 mg (1 tablet) twice daily.

Children aged 5 to 10 years: 50 mg (1 tablet) once daily.

The duration of treatment is 10 to 40 days (depending on the nature, severity, and course of the disease). If necessary, the treatment course may be repeated upon physician's recommendation.

Children. The medication is indicated for treatment of children aged 5 years and older.

Overdose.

Cases of overdose have not been reported.

Adverse reactions.

The drug is usually well tolerated. Rarely, allergic reactions (including skin rashes, urticaria, itching, hyperemia) are possible; increased arterial pressure (in patients with arterial hypertension). With prolonged use, cholestatic manifestations are possible.

Shelf life. 5 years.

Storage conditions. Store in the original packaging at a temperature not exceeding 25 °C.

Keep out of reach of children.

Packaging. Tablets № 10×3 in blisters in a box; № 30 in a container in a box.
