INSTRUCTIONS FOR MEDICAL USE OF THE MEDICINAL PRODUCT AHD2000 (AHD 2000®)

Composition:

Active substance: denatured ethanol;

100 g of solution contains 75 mg of denatured ethanol;

Excipients: skin care complex (base: polyfatty acid ester), aromatic substance (fragrance oil Pinoflor), lactic acid, purified water.

Pharmacodynamics.

AHD 2000 (AHD 2000®) exerts bactericidal, tuberculocidal, and fungicidal effects, and inactivates viruses, including HIV and hepatitis B virus. Reduces the number of transient skin microflora by 100,000 times within 30 seconds. Highly effective against resident skin microflora, thus ensuring high-quality surgical skin antisepsis. Maintains high efficacy in the presence of protein, serum, and whole blood.

Instructions for use.

Do not use for antisepsis of open wounds and mucous membranes; avoid contact with eyes. In case of accidental contact with mucous membranes or eyes, rinse thoroughly with a large amount of running water. If redness or skin irritation occurs, discontinue use and wash off the liquid with water. For external use only. In case of accidental ingestion, seek medical advice immediately.

Use during pregnancy or breastfeeding.

Ability to affect reaction rate when driving or operating machinery.

Method of Administration and Dosage

Apply AHD 2000 undiluted for topical use only.

Surgical Antisepsis

Apply 5 mL of AHD to the palms and rub thoroughly into hands and forearms until completely dry, paying special attention to fingertips and areas around the nails. Rubbing duration: 1½ minutes.

Hygienic Hand Antisepsis

Before performing procedures or patient examination, wash hands with a cleansing agent and dry thoroughly. Apply 3 mL of AHD 2000 to dry hands and rub for 30 seconds.

After performing procedures: if hands are visibly soiled, moisten hands with a sufficient amount of AHD 2000 (not less than 3 mL) and rub for 30 seconds. If hands are not visibly soiled, remove contamination from the skin using a single-use Hospisept wipe, then perform antiseptic hand treatment by rubbing 3 mL of AHD 2000 for 30 seconds. After hygienic antisepsis, wash hands with a cleansing agent.

Skin Antiseptic Treatment

Antiseptic treatment of the patient's skin involves complete moistening of the area requiring treatment with AHD 2000 followed by drying, especially before using thermoelectric devices on the skin. Exposure time should be at least 15 seconds; for skin rich in sebaceous glands, exposure should be at least 10 minutes.

Before punctures and injections – exposure time should be at least 15 seconds.

Before joint, abdominal cavity, hollow organ punctures, and other surgical procedures – exposure time should be at least 1 minute.

On skin with a high concentration of sebaceous glands (e.g., forehead) – exposure time should be at least 1 minute.

Virucidal activity against rotaviruses, adenoviruses, hepatitis B and C viruses, and HIV.

Do not use in children.

Skin irritation (redness, burning sensation), allergic reactions. If any adverse events occur, consult a physician.
