1. WHAT PLASTER NA ODCISKI IS AND WHAT IT IS USED FOR
Plaster na odciski contains the active substance salicylic acid. Salicylic acid, when applied topically to thickened skin, softens and loosens it, thus facilitating desquamation.
Indications
Plaster na odciski is indicated for the removal of individual corns and calluses.
2. IMPORTANT INFORMATION BEFORE USING THE MEDICINAL PLASTER FOR CORNS
When not to use the Plaster for Corns
- in case of hypersensitivity to salicylic acid or any of the excipients of the medicinal product (rash, irritation of the skin may occur),
- in patients with circulatory disorders,
- in patients with diabetes,
- in patients with renal or hepatic impairment,
- if the callus, corn, or surrounding skin is damaged, inflamed, or irritated.
When to exercise special caution when using the Plaster for Corns
Treatment should be discontinued and the Plaster for Corns should be removed if inflammation, irritation, or sensitization of the skin occurs.
The medicinal plaster should be applied exclusively to the corn – it must not be used on healthy, unaffected skin or on damaged skin, as salicylic acid may be absorbed through the skin and systemic adverse effects of salicylic acid may occur.
The product may cause skin irritation and rash.
Avoid contact of the product with eyes and mucous membranes.
Keep out of reach of children.
Pregnancy
If the patient is pregnant or breastfeeding, suspects she may be pregnant, or is planning to become pregnant, she should consult a doctor or pharmacist before using this product.
The use of the Plaster for Corns should be avoided during pregnancy, except for short-term treatment of a small, single area of skin, a single corn.
Oral forms (e.g. tablets) of products from this group may cause adverse effects in the unborn child. It is not known whether the same risk applies to the Plaster for Corns when applied topically to the skin or corn.
Breastfeeding

No studies have been conducted on the safety of use during breastfeeding.
Use with other medicines
Inform your doctor about all medicines you are currently taking, including those available without a prescription.
Concurrent use of other keratolytic agents may lead to excessive desquamation of healthy epidermis.
Driving and operating machinery
The product does not impair the ability to drive or operate machinery.
Important information about some of the excipients of the product
Due to the presence of lanolin, the product may cause local skin reactions (e.g. contact dermatitis).

The medicinal product is intended for topical use only.
