INSTRUCTIONS FOR MEDICAL USE OF THE MEDICINAL PRODUCT VIVABON (VIVABON)

Composition:

Active substances: 5 ml of syrup contains: extract of fruits of wild date palm (Phoenix sylvestris) dry (1:7) (extraction solvent – water) – 60 mg; extract of fruits of Emblica officinalis dry (1:6) (extraction solvent – water) – 35 mg; extract of roots of Withania somnifera dry (1:6) (extraction solvent – water) – 12.5 mg; extract of fruits of long pepper (Piper longum) dry (1:8) (extraction solvent – water) – 5 mg; extract of leaves of Centella asiatica dry (1:6) (extraction solvent – water) – 12.5 mg; extract of fruits of Amomum subulatum dry (1:8) (extraction solvent – water) – 5 mg; extract of rhizomes of Zingiber officinale dry (1:6) (extraction solvent – water) – 10 mg; extract of seeds of fenugreek (Trigonella foenum graecum) dry (1:8) (extraction solvent – water) – 10 mg; extract of roots of Cetaurea behan dry (1:8) (extraction solvent – water) – 10 mg;

Excipients: malt extract, sucrose, honey, glycerin, anhydrous citric acid, methylparaben (E 218), propylparaben (E 216), flavour "Lychee" 5413, purified water.

Pharmaceutical form. Syrup.

Main physicochemical properties: brown-coloured syrup with a characteristic lychee odour. Sediment formation is permissible, which dissolves upon shaking.

Pharmacological Properties

Pharmacodynamics

Vivabon promotes healthy physical and mental development, especially in children, increases resistance to stress, supports rapid recovery of the body after illness or fatigue, and enhances appetite.

Date fruit (Phoenix dactylifera). Dates contain natural fluoride, which protects teeth against caries; selenium, essential for the immune system; proteins; ascorbic acid; and cyanocobalamin (vitamin B12).

Phyllanthus emblica increases the body's resistance to infectious diseases, strengthens immunity, and promotes dental health. It enhances appetite and supports weight gain due to its anabolic effect.

Winter cherry (Withania somnifera) relieves nervous tension, stimulates mental and physical activity, and increases erythrocyte levels in the blood.

Long pepper (Piper longum) promotes increased appetite.

Centella asiatica supports stimulation of mental functions and improves memory. It contains natural amino acids, trace elements, vitamins, and bioactive alkaloids and glycosides.

Amomum subulatum contains zinc, essential for normal growth and development, proper functioning of endocrine glands, including insulin production, and helps prevent the development of allergic reactions.

Ginger (Zingiber officinale) stimulates salivary and gastric juice secretion and exerts a cholagogue effect. Fenugreek (Trigonella foenum-graecum) is recommended to enhance appetite.

Violet (Viola odorata) strengthens muscle tissue and supports bone health.

Clinical characteristics.

Indications.

As part of complex therapy: delayed growth, anorexia, hypotrophy, increased fatigue, stress.

Contraindications.

Hypersensitivity to any component of the drug, diabetes mellitus.

Interaction with other medicinal products and other forms of interactions.

Special precautions for use

The syrup contains sugar, which should be taken into account for patients on a reduced-calorie diet. Use with caution in individuals with increased gastric acidity, gastric or duodenal ulcer.

Since the medicinal product contains methylparaben and propylparaben, it may cause allergic reactions (possibly delayed).

As the medicinal product contains sucrose, it should not be used in patients with rare hereditary disorders such as fructose intolerance or sucrase-isomaltase deficiency.

Use during pregnancy or breastfeeding

Do not use the medicinal product during pregnancy or breastfeeding.

Ability to influence reaction speed when driving or operating machinery

Has no effect.

Dosage and Administration.

Take the syrup orally.

For children aged 3 to 6 years: 1 teaspoonful twice daily; for children aged 6 to 12 years: 2 teaspoonfuls twice daily; for adults and children aged 12 years and older: 1 tablespoonful three times daily. The duration of treatment is determined individually by a physician, but usually lasts 10–12 weeks.

Children.

Do not administer the medicinal product to children under 3 years of age.

Overdose.

No reports of accidental overdose have been received.

Side effects.

Allergic reactions, including urticaria and itching.

Gastrointestinal disorders, including belching, dyspepsia, nausea, flatulence, diarrhea; dizziness.

If any unusual reactions occur, discontinue use of the medicinal product and consult a doctor.

Shelf life. 3 years.

Storage conditions.

Store in the original packaging at a temperature not exceeding 25 °C.

Keep out of reach of children.

Packaging. Syrup 120 ml in a bottle, 1 bottle in a cardboard box.
