INSTRUCTIONS FOR MEDICAL USE OF THE MEDICINAL PRODUCT BIDENTIS HERBA (BIDENTIS HERBA)
Composition:
Active substance: bidentis herba (Bidentis herba);
One pack contains 40 g or 50 g of bidentis herba (Bidentis herba);
One filter bag contains 1.5 g of bidentis herba (Bidentis herba).
Pharmaceutical form. Herb.
Main physico-chemical characteristics: fragments of leaves, stems, buds, and flowers passing through a sieve with 7 mm diameter openings. Color is green, brownish-green, or greenish-violet with greyish-yellow inclusions. Odor is weak. Taste is slightly bitter, slightly astringent (for packs).

Pharmacological properties.
Biologically active substances of the herb exert diuretic, diaphoretic, anti-inflammatory, anti-allergic, choleretic, and bactericidal effects.
Clinical characteristics.
Indications.
Allergic skin diseases, diatheses, pyodermas, psoriasis, eczema, neurodermatitis. Urinary tract diseases, metabolic disorders, allergies, cold-related illnesses (ARI, influenza) (as part of complex therapy).
Contraindications.
Hypersensitivity to the biologically active substances of the drug.
Interaction with other medicinal products and other types of interactions.

Use during pregnancy or breastfeeding.
Should be used during pregnancy or breastfeeding only if clearly needed and when the expected benefit to the mother outweighs the potential risk to the fetus/infant. Use only on a physician's prescription.
Ability to affect reaction rate while driving or operating machinery.

Method of Administration and Dosage.
Place 2 tablespoons of the herb into an enameled container, pour 200 ml of hot boiled water, cover with a lid, and steep in a water bath for 15 minutes. Cool at room temperature for 45 minutes, strain, and squeeze the residue into the strained infusion. Adjust the volume of the infusion to 200 ml with boiled water.
Take warm, 2–3 times daily, 15–20 minutes before meals: for adults and children aged 14 years and older – 1/3 cup; for children aged 12–14 years – 1/4 cup.
Place 2 filter packets into a glass or enameled container, pour 100 ml of boiling water, cover and let steep for 15 minutes. Take warm, 2–3 times daily, 15–20 minutes before meals: for adults and children aged 14 years and older – 100 ml; for children aged 12–14 years – 50 ml.
Externally, the infusion is used for compresses and baths.
The duration of treatment is determined individually by a physician.
Children.
The drug is not prescribed internally for children under 12 years of age.
Overdose.
Possible intensification of adverse reactions.
Side effects.
In case of hypersensitivity to the drug, allergic reactions are possible (including hyperemia, rash, itching, skin swelling, urticaria).
Shelf life. 3 years.
Storage conditions.
Store in the original packaging at a temperature not exceeding 25 ºC.
The prepared infusion should be stored at a temperature between 8 ºC and 15 ºC for no more than 2 days.
