I N S T R U C T I O N for medical use of the medicinal product DUBA KORA (QUERCUSCORTEX)

Composition:

Active substance: oak bark (Quercus cortex);

1 pack contains: oak bark (Quercus cortex) 00 g;

1 filter bag contains: oak bark (Quercus cortex) 2.5 g.

Pharmaceutical form. Bark.

Main physico-chemical properties: fragments of bark of various shapes, light grey, greenish-grey, light brown or reddish-brown in color.

Pharmacological properties.

Pharmacodynamics.

The biologically active substances of the drug exert astringent, anti-inflammatory, and anti-putrefactive effects.

Clinical characteristics.

Indications.

Stomatitis, gingivitis, periodontitis, pharyngitis, tracheitis, and other inflammatory diseases of the oral cavity and throat (as part of combination therapy).

Contraindications.

Hypersensitivity to biologically active components of the drug.

Interaction with other medicinal products and other forms of interactions. Unknown.

Special precautions for use.

Use during pregnancy or breastfeeding.

Under medical supervision when the benefit to the mother outweighs the potential risk to the fetus/infant.

Ability to affect reaction speed when driving or operating machinery.

Method of Administration and Dosage.

Place 2 tablespoons of the bark into an enameled container, pour 200 ml of hot boiled water, cover with a lid, and steep in a water bath at boiling temperature for 30 minutes. Immediately filter afterward, squeeze the residue, and add the expressed liquid to the filtrate. Adjust the decoction volume to 200 ml with boiled water. Shake the decoction well before use. Use for rinsing the mouth and throat 6–8 times daily. Store the prepared aqueous extract at 8–15°C for no more than 2 days.

Place 2 filter packets into a glass or enameled container, pour 100 ml of boiling water, cover, and let steep for 15–20 minutes. Use for rinsing the mouth and throat 6–8 times daily, each time preparing a fresh infusion.

The duration of treatment is determined individually by a physician.

Children.

The drug may be used in children aged 3 years and older, as prescribed by a physician.

No cases reported.

Side effects.

Allergic reactions (including hyperemia, rash, itching, skin swelling).

Shelf life. 5 years.

Do not use after the expiry date stated on the packaging.

Storage conditions.

Store in the original packaging at a temperature not exceeding 30 °C, in a place inaccessible to children.

100 g in packs with an inner pouch; 2.5 g in a tea bag, 20 tea bags per pack or in a pack with an inner pouch.
