1. What Centellase is and what it is used for

Centellase is a medicinal product based on Centella asiatica, a drug used to protect the veins.
Centellase is indicated for the treatment of:

swelling of the ankles and legs due to venous insufficiency, sensation of heaviness in the legs, tingling and itching in the legs, nocturnal leg cramps, and visible capillaries;
capillary fragility.

Consult your doctor if you do not feel better or if you feel worse.

2. What you need to know before taking Centellase

Do not take Centellase

if you are allergic to the active substance or to any of the other components of this medicine (listed in section 6).

Warnings and precautions
No special precautions are required for the use of this medicine.
Other medicines and Centellase
Inform your doctor or pharmacist if you are taking, have recently taken, or might take any other medicines.
Pregnancy, breastfeeding and fertility
Do not use this medicine during pregnancy or breastfeeding, as its effects are unknown.
If you are pregnant, suspect you may be pregnant, planning a pregnancy, or are breastfeeding, consult your doctor or pharmacist before taking this medicine.
Driving and using machines
Centellase does not affect the ability to drive or operate machinery.

3. How to take Centellase

Take this medicine exactly as stated in this leaflet or as instructed by your doctor or pharmacist. If you have any doubts, consult your doctor or pharmacist.
The recommended dose is 1 to 2 tablets per day, preferably during meals.
Method of administration: The tablets should be swallowed whole with water.
Duration of treatment: Use this medicine only for short-term treatment. Consult your doctor if the condition recurs repeatedly or if you have noticed any recent changes in its characteristics.

4. Possible side effects

Like all medicines, this medicine can cause side effects, although not everybody gets them.
Use of this medicine may cause itching or lead to sensitivity to sunlight and UV rays (photosensitivity), resulting in redness and red and/or swollen spots (skin rashes).

5. How to store Centellase

This medicinal product does not require any special storage conditions.
Keep this medicine out of the sight and reach of children.
Do not use this medicinal product after the expiry date stated on the packaging after "Exp.". The expiry date refers to the last day of that month.
Do not dispose of any medicine via wastewater or household waste. Ask your pharmacist how to dispose of medicines no longer required. This will help protect the environment.

What Centellase contains

The active substance is: total triterpenic fraction of Centella asiatica
The other components are: dibasic calcium phosphate dihydrate, sodium docusate, povidone, sodium croscarmellose, sodium carmellose, magnesium stearate.
